My mam has always said I’m too “click-happy” when I’m on my computer, I’ll flash backwards and forwards too fast and do stuff too quick that she can’t keep up; so it’s my own damn fault that I managed to delete a full folder of work from Uni, from the freelance I did for James Ellis Stevens. I got an external HD the other day and I put everything onto that and deleted it off my mac to save space… Anyway today I updated the folder with all the new stuff from Redhill but managed to overwrite everything with just the Redhill work. I managed to get most of it back from CD’s from uni but I don’t have everything and most things I do have are just JPEGS so I can’t ever go back to PSD and check layers or edit if ever I need to :[ Oh well, let that be a lesson to me and all of you who are also click happy! Catch you later I'm off to be bored to death at work.x p.s heres a screenshot of my desktop- the design is something I've done for Redhill, it's much better when you can see it properly but nevermind :]

Sitting here on a Sunday afternoon watching Orange Unsigned Act and designing away. Just entered the Tigerprint competition with a different kinda design than normal ‘valentines day’. I’m all for the quirky, different designs when buying a card so I just imaged lots of me buying the card muahaha. Anyway I best get off, got a deadline approaching and I’m only halfway there. See you all later!x

witchmountain

Today Carl Liddle and myself went up to visit Kim at Witchmountain! We had a fun but gluttonous day… Two full cakes demolished and about 10 cups of tea each! We went for a little walk through the Moors to the Dingly Dell waterfall. Was very pretty but very cold and very tiring. Lots of sheep to talk to, they just looked at us like we were daft! We had fun burning logs, paper, leftovers etc etc in Kim’s rustic little kitchen in the fireplace, it kept us toasty toasty warm! Then we had a browse on the internet via Kim’s slow dial-up; we had a look on the Tigerprint blog and did a bit of doodling for the new competition. We all said we would enter but I bet we don’t! Anyway here are some pictures from the day. I’m to go have a lie down and finish Eclipse (by Stephenie Meyer, the lady who wrote Twilight) for the fourth time, because my back feels like its about to break from being hunched over the computer all the time, boohoo! I’ve done a few more designs for Redhill, and I’m loving them. We’ll soon find out if they do too because I’m gonna email it all over tomorrow. Right, relax time! Later gators x

20 designs by the first two weeks in February….. My first real test of actual design work. I’m very excited but also absolutely cacking (ahem, sorry) myself. Much more work than expected at college and after all the hard work the buyer’s might say ‘THATS AWFUL RUBBISH GET AWAY FROM MY EYES,’ but then again I suppose that’s life! It really is a good job that I’m my worst critic; people say I’m too negative about my work, which is true if I’m not 100% happy with something. If I love something then I’m my biggest fan and I have the fattest head in the world, muha ha haa. So I’m off to get cracking. See you in February when I resurface! byeee x

p.s my lovely friend Kim Tillyer is in need of a bit of cheering up, and seeing as my little visit to her beautiful witch mountain wasn’t enough you should all get to her very popular blog and check out her gorgeous dresses and designs, yum yum yum if i had a baby I would deffo buy it a Kim Tillyer wool winter dress even if it was a boy, ahhh lovely. Seeing as I have no work to post heres a pic of the lovely view I took on the way to her house (in the middle of nowhere).

Hello! No work to post at the minute even though I am actually doing some right now. I’m doing a lot of designs for a lady who wants to commission some scrapbook papers, so that should be good. She wants to buy the copyright off me and so forth, but I do not have the first idea what to charge, so I’m getting myself on a business course soon. Right, I’m off to the metro centre to buy myself a keyboard (piano kind, not computer kind). It’s about time I got myself a hobby that isn’t anything to do with art, so I’m gonna attempt (and more than likely fail) to learn some tunes… Bearing in mind I have never played an instrument before the outcome will be interesting to say the least…. Later gators.x

p.s: Oh yes, if you have the chance you MUST see seven pounds, amazing film, will smith is a legend. Also I suggest listening to music by A Fine Frenzy, lovely lovely music, and a lovely lovely voice she has!

happy birthday

~

Happy birthday year! First post of 2009! It is absolutely baltic outside, I eventually went to the doctors about this cold I have had since October, and brrrr it was cold out there. Anyway it’s going to be another short one as I don’t really have much to say and only one tiny thing to post: a reworked piece of work from an old concept journal. A birthday card for my mums friend… Bonsoir!x
